| Fri and Sat are showing the most potential for the extended period A stalled boundary draped over the mid Atlantic will get lifted N as a warm front as a low pressure system moves toward us from the W on Thurs, Fri and Sat. Some far W sites may see cold frontal passage late on Sat. Positioning and or timing of the above mentioned features are critical to conditions induced. Check daily forecast for updated info as these systems are subject to a high degree of changeability. Thursday: Transitional day with northerly winds turning E in the afternoon. Speeds in the singles / with some isolated low teens. Friday: Slow start with S / SW winds organizing in the afternoon. LI and NJ see mid to upper teens, with Hudson sites a little lighter. Saturday: Shaping up to be a repeat of Fri but without the slow start. Cloud cover will have numbers at or less than those on Thurs and sustained Sun could bump them up. Stay tuned.
